1. Youth Welfare Activities:

2. Grant to Youth Commission:

·         The State Government has constituted a commission for the overall development of youth.

·         Grants are provided by the department for various activities of the commission.

3. Yuva Shakti Yojana:

·         This new scheme has been prepared to empower the youth.

·         Action as per the guidelines of the scheme.

4. Training of Players:

·         Organization of District Level Summer Sports Training Camp.

·         Vyamshala/Gym Equipment.

·         Training through departmental trainers.

·         Training and evaluation of fencing players under Khelo India Scheme.

5. Rural Sports Competitions:

·         Organizing competitions for boys and girls under 17 age group.

·         Benefiting the players of rural areas.

·         Establish three practice centres in each development block under the Gramin Khel Abhyas Yojana.

·         Development of facilities by providing funds to practice centres.

6. Women's sports competitions:

·         To create awareness among women and to enhance their hidden talents.

·         Organise competitions in various sports disciplines.

·         To ensure maximum participation of women.

7. Grants to state level organisations and other institutions:

·         Financial assistance for state level sports associations.

·         Financial assistance for district level sports associations.

·         Financial assistance for registered sports institutions. 

8. Incentives to sportspersons:

·         Encouraging sportspersons under the Incentive Rules 2005.

·         Samman Nidhi.

·         Decoration for cash prizes to players who win medals in national competitions and others.

·         Sports scholarship.

·         Prerna Nidhi to sports associations.

·         Track suits to players participating in national championships and apparel to youth participating in cultural activities.

·         Sportsmen risk insurance.

·         Promotion of research work in physical education or sports literature creation and physical education.

·         Cash incentive for participation in Olympics. 

9. State Sports Awards:

·         Gundadhur Samman.

·         Maharaja Pravirchand Bhanjdev Samman.

·         Shaheed Rajiv Pandey Award.

·         Shaheed Kaushal Yadav Award.

·         Veer Hanuman Singh Award.

10. Sports Academy:

·         Selecting boys and girls of under 17 age group on the basis of their sports skills and giving them admission in Sports Academy.

·         Providing free sports training, sports material, sports apparel to the players selected in the academy.

·         Providing sports scholarship to the players selected in the academy.

 11. Sports Training Academy:

·         Issuing setup approval for Sports Training Academy in the state.

·         Construction of sports infrastructure for state sports training. 

12. Development of basic facilities stadium etc.:

·         Construction of stadium / mini stadium / indoor stadium.

·         Development of sports infrastructure.
