SHRI VISHNU DEO SAI : Chief Minister

On 3 December 2023, Vishnu Dev Sai took over the power of the state as the fourth Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh. There is joy in the tribal areas as Scheduled Tribe-dominated Chhattisgarh got a tribal Chief Minister in the form of Vishnu Dev Sai. With Shri Sai becoming the Chief Minister, the traditional and cultural heritage of the state is expected to get a new dimension. The spirit of welfare of Scheduled Castes, Tribes, Other Backward Classes is resonating in the functioning of the government. The concept of good governance is that initiatives should be taken to provide justice and respect to all sections, especially the deprived sections.

After seeing the way MP Vishnu Dev Sai's government residence in South Avenue, Delhi, was always filled with patients from 1999 to 2019, late Kumar Dilip Singh Judev ji, who was considered to be Mr. Sai's political guardian, named his residence in Delhi as 'Mini AIIMS'.
Born in the third generation of the Mukhiya (Gauntia) family of Bagiya village, located on the banks of the Maini river in the hilly district of Jashpur in the north, Vishnu Dev Sai has inherited the culture of serving the society and the community from his ancestors. In keeping with his name, Vishnu Dev Sai's nature also had a gentleness. Along with his thoughts and natural qualities, Vishnu Dev Sai always had the urge to serve the people. If any incident occurred or any social event was organized in the village, Vishnu Dev Sai used to participate in them with great enthusiasm. This was the reason that as soon as he turned 8 years old, in the year 1989, he became the Panch of his Gram Panchayat. After this, he was also elected unopposed as the Sarpanch. Then he became MLA twice. After this, Shri Sai became MP and Union Minister of State for four consecutive times from Raigarh Lok Sabha constituency and now after being elected MLA from Kunkuri Assembly constituency of Jashpur district, he is adorning the post of Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh state.

After becoming an MP in 1999, Vishnu Dev Sai's area of ​​work increased. At that time, poverty was prevalent in the society. Poor people were not able to bear the cost of treatment of major diseases. Then Vishnu Dev Sai became the savior of the patients and the relatives of serious patients started reaching MP Shri Vishnu Dev Sai with the hope of help in treatment. Shri Sai fulfilled their expectations by giving priority to the service of the people at that time. He saved the lives of many tribal families by helping them in treatment. During this time, the condition of the people and the poverty prevalent in the society pained him deeply. Then he vowed that he would help in every possible way in the treatment of all the patients who would come to him and opened the doors of his government bungalow for such serious patients. He called the patients to his residence in Raipur and Delhi and started treating them at his own expense and at the government's expense. Not only this, he gave rooms in his bungalow to those patients for stay in Delhi and Raipur, also arranged for food, and also took the patients to the hospital for admission. This selfless service of his did not stop, it continued unabated and continues till today. Since the time Shri Sai became an MP, he has treated thousands of patients at his own expense.

After seeing the way the government residence of MP Vishnu Dev Sai at South Avenue, Delhi, was always full of patients from 1999 to 2009, late Kumar Dilip Singh Judeo ji, who was considered to be the political guardian of Shri Sai, named his residence in Delhi as 'Mini AIIMS'. Whenever the relatives of the patients staying at Shri Sai's residence went to meet Kumar Dilip Singh Judeo ji at his bungalow in Delhi, he used to say to them, why are you staying in a Mini AIIMS. He used to appreciate this service work of Vishnu Dev Sai ji a lot. He used to say that Vishnudev Sai will go very far one day, which has proved true today. Vishnu Dev Sai, the head of the state, who has immense respect for Lord Shri Ram and is always interested in public welfare, is also a gentle and service-minded person. The elders of the family were in public life. He got the feeling of public welfare as a part of his family. His elder father, late Narsingh Prasad Sai, was imprisoned (MISA) during the Emergency imposed by the Central Government from 1975 to 1977. At a young age, Vishnu Dev Sai lost the protection of his father, late Ram Prasad Sai. His mother Jasmani Devi Sai brought him up. Along with his mother, he also took care of family responsibilities and also carried forward the family's legacy of public life. Vishnu Dev Sai was very conscious of his responsibilities during his teenage years while studying at Loyola Higher Secondary School, Kunkuri. Shri Sai had a connection with the youth from the very beginning, which is clearly visible in his behavior and personality even today. Under the leadership of Shri Sai, the Chhattisgarh government has made the competitive examinations completely transparent in the interest of the youth and has also decided that the government will investigate the examinations in which irregularities have taken place. Vishnu Dev Sai worked under the guidance of former Prime Minister Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi and learned the tricks of discharging political and administrative responsibilities. Seeing the working style and efficiency of Shri Sai, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi entrusted him with the responsibility of the Ministry of Steel, Labor, Mines and Employment as Union Minister of State.

The central leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party, which came to power with the resolve of good governance in the Chhattisgarh Assembly elections in the year 2023, has entrusted him with the important responsibility of the post of Chief Minister in view of Shri Vishnu Dev Sai's long political and administrative experience and his efficiency. Chief Minister Shri Sai is working with full commitment to fulfill the guarantees of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
