After the decisive victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the 2023 Chhattisgarh Assembly elections, Shri Vishnudev Sai ji took oath as the Chief Minister.
With this victory, it was natural for the youth to have faith in the government and assurance about their better future.
When the government says with the resolve of good governance that “We have built it and we will make it better”, then there is a sense of responsibility towards the youth.
With these responsibilities, the government has appointed Shri Vishwavijay Singh Tomar as Chairman, Chhattisgarh State Youth Commission.
Shri Vishwavijay Singh Tomar was born on 16 May 1989 in Ambikapur of Surguja district. Coming from an ordinary family, the early hardships of student life not only taught him the value of hard work but also made him aware of the sufferings of the common people. Inspired him to dedicate himself to the service of the people and the nation at a very young age. In his early years, he worked in the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, an affiliate organization of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Which works on character building with the aim of making student power a national power, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is a nationalist organization dedicated to nation building, while working in the Vidyarthi Parishad, he discharged various responsibilities including college president, city secretary, state working committee member, during this time he participated in many student movements, social and cultural programs, camps and later dedicated himself to politics to work in the organization of Bharatiya Janata Party, where in the early days he discharged his responsibilities as a member of the city, district and state. Seeing his hard work, dedication and efficiency towards the organization, he was entrusted with the responsibility of District President of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha Surguja. As a public representative, he started as a councilor of Nagar Palika Nigam in the year 2020. Currently he is the Chairman of the State Youth Commission of Chhattisgarh Government.
Mr. Tomar has completed B.Com, M.A Political Science from Surguja University.
Vishwavijay Singh Tomar is active and popular among the youth and is dedicated to solving the problems of the common people and improving their standard of living. Nothing satisfies him more than being among people, sharing their happiness and alleviating their sorrows. He has a strong personal bond with people at the grassroots level and is constantly active among people through social, cultural and sports events. He also has a strong presence on social media.
Apart from politics, he likes writing, reading poetry and sports. He is also the vice-president of the Sarguja District Football Association.
